A guide to the process

The first step is to connect, so we can have an initial chat about your wedding & what you are planning for your day.

If you are happy with our first chat, the next step is to catch up in person where I would bring along the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) form; which needs to be completed no later than one month prior to your wedding day. During this meeting we can talk further about what you want for your day & get to know each other a bit better.

Following this, we then start working our magic and pull together a wedding ceremony that is exactly as you wish.

There are a few things both you & I need to say during the ceremony to ensure your marriage is legally valid. Apart from that, it is completely up to you as to what we say and who is involved. If you are not sure what to include, I have plenty of examples and can absolutely help you with your vows.

Even though we will be in touch regularly, I will contact you one week prior to the wedding day to confirm all the details (including rehearsal etc). On the day, I will be there at least one hour before, and will have my own PA system with me.

Before the ceremony ends, both of you and two witnesses over the age of 18, will need to sign three documents. One of these will be a marriage certificate for you to keep. The other documents are for me to keep and to use when registering your marriage with the BDM Office (which I will do within one week following your ceremony).

Although there are a few words on this page, I promise it will be smooth sailing; it is my job to manage the process!
